7 Random Facts About Me meme.
Jun. 1st, 2010 02:01 am1. While I don't have a favourite color (right now, I'm particularly inclined towards darker shades of mauve; this'll probably have changed by next week), my bedroom often ends up being purple. Apparently, my room in Goole is a purple explosion—I've not seen it yet, but I'm thoroughly prepared to be both awed and horrified.
2. Though I currently live in three places interchangeably, none of them are really home to me—as far as I'm concerned, 'home' is a place of comfort in the now. I've never ever found one place where I've thought to myself: I could settle down here.
3. I have a sizeable inferiority complex, and constantly feel overshadowed by people and/or burdensome to them. I'mmmm considering seeing somebody about it, but probably won't. I'm at my most confident when I'm alone and uninvolved (counts for both online and offline interaction).
4. My current favourite characters, in no particular order, are: Lumiére (KG), Yuffie (FFVII), Izaya (DRRR!!), Duzell (VG), Verdot (S&K!V), Eleventh Doctor (DW), Chika (ZL), Virid (BtB). There are probably others, but I'm brainderping right now. Derp.
5. I still answer when my mother whistles for me. It's a specific little tune, don't know if it's from anything, but if I hear it, I'll find myself seeking it out automatically. Nooot sure if I'd react the same if anybody else whistled it.
6. I think best when I'm walking, and I walk best when I'm listening to music. I currently have three different MP3 players that I switch between—the music sometimes overlaps, but I got the MP3 players themselves at least a year or so apart, so it's like they represent different portions of my life. Each pond hop has a couple of songs that I associate with it.
7. I'm usually pretty amiable about eating whatever other people want to eat when I'm eating with others, but when it comes to food I don't like, I'm borderline inflexible. This amiability extends to numerous other things; I prefer going with the flow. Part of it is because I want to take the other's preferences into consideration… okay, well, most of it is that. It's also down to me being fairly indecisive.
